AdhereTech is committed to advancing the connection between technology and care.

Our mission

Our mission is to build cloud-based software and devices that seamlessly connect patients to care. At the heart of everything we do is the patient.

Patients need our support

The impact of medication nonadherence is felt in our health systems and in the health of our parents and loved ones. To affect change, we make customized patient support programs that use real-time data from our patented smart devices to help patients effortlessly stick to their medication schedules and improve the patient experience.

The results: Well-supported and highly satisfied patients experiencing better health outcomes.

Here’s how we do it

To help us meet these objectives, we hold ourselves to 2 key principles that drive every decision we make:

1

Overcoming patient medication obstacles

Getting patients to adhere to medication schedules requires an understanding of their individual long-term needs. Our systems are designed to illuminate the path for a more tailored approach to care that patients can stick with. We partner with healthcare organizations to provide connected devices and services free to patients—with zero setup—to eliminate medication burden and give patients the freedom to focus on what matters most to them.

2

Ensuring patient safety & privacy

Because patient safety and privacy is essential to the way we do business, we ensure full compliance with all necessary legal and regulatory requirements and safety standards (including but not limited to: FDA, HIPAA, TCPA, CE, USP, ISO, FCC, and more).

TED Talk: Why understanding patients is important to adherence

Achieving medication adherence must go beyond the use of a smart device. In this 5-minute TED Talk, AdhereTech Co-Founder Josh Stein discusses the top 3 principles that guided the AdhereTech approach to patient-centric design.
